About Dr Philippe V. Jutras

My research interests are driven by fundamental sciences, mostly related to the cellular and molecular biology of plant cells. I aim at a better understanding of the plant-bacteria interactions for molecular farming applications. For the past ten years, I am committed to providing highly effective human vaccines and therapeutic proteins produced from plant biotechnology. I study Agrobacterium‐mediated transient expression efficiency and techniques to prevent unwanted proteolysis of clinically useful proteins in leaf extracts.
