How projects are granted and coordinated?

Projects that matter to people

The PCI will secure funding for the researchers and the host labs. Open calls will be announced for the submission of research proposals by the community. The proposals will be initially reviewed by the PCI's scientific advisory board and submitted for a community-based evaluation process. This process aims at identifying the project that has the greatest impact on the different challenges. Once the project is granted, the host labs and the PCI will select the research team, and the PCI will coordinate the project to facilitate connections and contributions among the groups. Research results will be publicly available, and the PCI will ensure the data is auditable and reproducible.
