Building a distributed platform

Assembling a lab with no lab

The PCI is creating technologies to enable distributed contributions. The technologies support the researchers who work across a network of labs and collaborate through a dedicated virtual institute. The PCI partnered with data management and reproducibility advocates to develop the platform. The platform promotes interoperability rather than fragmentation by allowing researchers to cooperate with groups or individuals, enhancing accessibility and openness to collaboration.

To achieve high scientific standards, researchers need great data management tools. We think this is fundamental, especially in the context of collaborative science.

Why we need you?

Are you a software engineer or a data reproducibility advocates? Join the project. We believe scientists in biology should learn from the open source software community to improve research reliability and reproducibility. We need your help to build an open source platform and establishing a unique nexus between computer science and biology.
