Foster collaborative research

The distributed structure of the PCI will be studied to understand how teams connect effectively to achieve scientific breakthroughs. Therefore, the PCI proposes an interdisciplinary approach to empirically examine opportunities and enhance collaborative research in distributed science teams in partnership with social scientists.

The science of Team Science examines the processes by which scientific teams conduct research. We recommend an excellent publication: Enhancing the Effectiveness of Team Science.
